Learn how to create graphic novels with me

Ever wonder how graphic novels get made?

Excerpt from my graphic novel, Chickensaurus (2020)

I’ve recorded a workshop on that very subject for the Brisbane Writers Festival’s online program.

In this workshop for kids, I share my top tips for creating your own graphic novels and comics, and reveal the processes I use when I make my own. There are also printable templates to use with the suggested activities.

You can access my workshop with a Word Play Online subscription, or you can just stream the session on its own. Its available to classes, homeschoolers and individuals too.

The workshop will be available to watch from May 3rd until the end of Term 4, 2022.

Check out my workshop on the Brisbane Writers Festival website.
