June 24-25: Supanova Comic Con, Perth

In a surreal and welcome turn of events, I’ll be a guest author at this year’s Supanova Perth!
I’ll be at the signing table near the QBD bookstore most of the time, but I’ve also got a special session each day:
SATURDAY JUNE 24th, 3:30pm
I’m doing a ‘Supanova Seminar’ where I’ll talk about making my picture book Stellarphant and my graphic novel series Secret Agent Mole.
SUNDAY JUNE 25th, 3:00pm
I’ll be on a panel with Meg Caddy and Jo Riccioni called Creating Compelling Characters.
You can grab tickets for Supanova Perth here. See you there!
Jul 1, 8 – storytime workshops at the Lane Bookshop (for kids and families)

I’ve got two Saturday morning sessions coming up at the Lane Bookshop in Claremont, WA.

SATURDAY JULY 1st, 10 am-11 am
- Join me for a Stellarphant storytime! Hear the story, learn how to draw Stella and do some crafty activities inspired by the book. You can even buy the book and get it signed.
SATURDAY JULY 8th, 10 am-11 am
- Join me for a comics and cartooning workshop! Hear about how I made my new book series Secret Agent Mole, and learn tips and tricks you can use to make your very own comics. There’ll be books available for signing on the day.
Contact the Lane Bookshop for more details on either of these sessions.
July 15 – school holiday cartooning workshop (online)

Join me for an online cartooning workshop this school holidays!
Learn how to draw characters from my new graphic novel series, SECRET AGENT MOLE. (NB: if you did the workshop last holidays, you’ll be learning how to draw all-new characters!).
PLUS go in the draw to WIN signed sketches from the session!
Tickets are only $5 per family, and half of all proceeds go to Room to Read – a wonderful international charity that builds libraries and creates books for children in the developing world.
This is an online workshop and will be held via Zoom. You’ll get the zoom link via email once you register.
