What a mental month! My Dead Bunny is finally out in the world after launches in Sydney, Perth and Melbourne.
Sydney, Sept 27: Writers In The Park
The incredible Sarah Davis launched My Dead Bunny with the assistance of her zombie son, Finn. Huge thanks to Sarah who came all the way from the Central Coast to be at the launch, and Finn who came all the way from the afterlife.
Many many thanks also to the SCBWI Australia East/NZ team who put the Writers In The Park festival together. And to my sister, for staring danger in the bloodshot eyes to be the Zombie Bunny Wrangler. And to Jessica Rowe, who had the winning bid on the drawing I did for the illustrator duel! Proceeds went to Room To Read.
Here are some pics from the day.

The amazing Karen Blair launched My Dead Bunny in Perth. Thanks Karen!
Special thanks to Briony Stewart who made Bunny Brad as a birthday present for me. And to Samantha Hughes, who took on the role of Zombie Bunny Wrangler. And to the State Library staff (especially Tracey) who so ably helped to set up the exhibition, decorations and wine glasses; you were lifesavers.
NB: the My Dead Bunny exhibition will be up at the State Library of WA until November 3rd. It’s free!
