The Stellarphant book launch was out of this world

The Stellarphant book launch was out of this world.
What a blast!
We almost ran outer space.
It all turned out fine, though, the trick to a good launch is to really thoroughly planet.

Okay I’ll stop now.

Thanks so much everyone who came down to The Literature Centre in Fremantle to celebrate the release of Stellarphant!

We had craft activities, piles of snacks for the kids and massive stacks of books flying out the door.

And what better way to launch a book about space, than to print out the cover, wrap it around a bunch of foam rockets then fire them in a crowded room?

Big thanks to the Literature Centre for hosting and for all their support; to Fremantle Press for being so brilliant; and to author/illustrator extraordinaire Briony Stewart for not only being a fantastic human but also for launching the book!

If you couldn’t make it to the launch, I’ll be reading Stellarphant at Open Book in Mosman Park on Saturday Nov 13th at 9:30am. See you there.

Stellarphant is available now in Australia and New Zealand!
It’s available in the USA from January 1st.
