Quokka- Breast Cancer Awareness

The Quokka newspaper has been helping to promote the National Breast Cancer Foundation. The NBCF campaign materials are all coloured pink, hence the many different shades used in this week’s cover.

    1. I cheated a little- used a reference photo, did a quick trace of the outlines in photoshop, and then painted in the colours using a soft semi-transparent brush. I noticed after it was published that I’d forgotten the ferris wheel!

  1. Hi my name is Georgina I’m 10 years old and I have being scrapbooking most of your QUOKKA pictures since the Wildflowers at Wave Rock. Why? because they are so cute. Is it possible to get copies of the ones I have missed since Wave Rock?

    1. Hi Georgina, thanks for writing, and for collecting 🙂

Are you after a printout of the covers you’ve missed, or are you looking for copies of the newspapers you’re missing?

      1. I would love to receive newspaper copies that I’m missing. They are GARDENING, WHALE WATCHING and ROTTO MARATHON. I’m happy to pay if that is necessary.

      2. Hi Georgina

I don’t have access to the newspaper copies because I don’t work at the Quokka, I just send them the cartoon- but if you contact Quokka Press they may be able to help you out. I’ll send you an email.
